Day 1,  TASHKENT 

Arrival to Tashkent.  Welcome at the airport and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Night in Tashkent.

 

Day 2, TASHKENT - SAMARKAND

Breakfast in the hotel. Half day of sightseeing tour in Tashkent to the old and new parts of the city: Amir Timur Square, Theatre Square with the Opera House, Applied Art Museum, Earthquake Memorial, Independence Square, Khast Imam Square – a religious center of the city consisting of the Barakkhan madrasah, KaffalShashi Mausoleum and the library of Islamic Literature with the Holy Koran Book of the VII century.

Transfer to Samarkand (320 km, 4,5 hrs.) You will check-in at the hotel upon arrival in Samarkand. Night in Samarkand.

 

Day 3, SAMARKAND

Breakfast in the hotel. Full sightseeing day in Samarkand: Gur-Emir Mausoleum - Grave of Tamerlane (XV C), Registan Square (XV-XVII CC), BibiKhanum Mosque (XIV-XV CC) and Samarkand local bazaar, Ulugbek Observatory (XV C), Excavation of an ancient city and museum of Afrosiyab,ShakhiZinda Necropolis (XIV-XV CC). Night in Samakand.

 

Day 4, SAMARKAND - BUKHARA

Breakfast in the hotel.Morning drive to Bukhara (280 km, 4 hrs.) On the way you will stop to see the ruins of the XI century caravanserai Malik Rabat. Arrival to Bukhara and hotel check-in. Sightseeing of Bukhara in the afternoon:  the Ark Fortress (I-XX CC), Bolo Hauz Mosque (XVIII C), Samanids Mausoleum (IX-X CC), Chashma-Ayub Mausoleum (XII-XVI CC). Night in Bukhara.

 

Day 5,: BUKHARA

Breakfast in the hotel.Sightseeing  on foot along the old town of Bukhara from Poi- Kalyan complex with Kalyan Minaret (XII C) through orient bazaars with three trade domes of Toki Zargaron (XV C), Toki Sarrafon (XVI C), Toki TelpakFurushon (XVI C), UlugbekMadrassah (XV C), AbdulazizkhanMadrassah (XVII C) to the LyabiHauz complex (XVI -XVII CC).

In the afternoon drive outside Bukhara for sightseeing: BagautdinNakhshbandi Complex - a center of Sufism (XIV-XVI CC, 14 km outside the town), SitoraiMokhiKhosa - summer residence of the last Emir of Bukhara (XIX-XX, 4 km outside the town) and  back to Bukhara and to visit to the Chor – Minor (Four Minarets, XIX C). Night in Bukhara.

 

Day 6, BUKHARA - KHIVA

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Khiva via the Kizilkum desert (470 km).Currently the road between Bukhara and Khiva is under reconstruction and it will take around 10 hours to reach Khiva from Bukhara.    Arrival to Khiva and hotel check-in. Night in Khiva.

 

Day 7, KHIVA – URGENCH – TASHKENT

Breakfast in the hotel. Full day for sightseeing of Khiva - including visits to the inner town of Ichan Kala (XIV-XX CC) with Muhamad Amin khan Madrassah, Kalta Minor Minaret, Kunya Ark, Muhamad Rahim khan Madrassah, Djuma Mosque and Minaret, TashHauli Palace, Islam Khodja Minaret and Madrassah, Shirgazi khan Madrassah,Pahlavan Mahmud Mausoleum. Transfer to Urgench airport (30 km) for the evening flight to Tashkent. Arrive Tashkent, check-in at the hotel.  

 

Day 8, TASHKENT

Transfer from the hotel to Tashkent International Airport for the flight  from Tashkent.  End of the tour.
